The /məˈSHetē/

the nice, nice bourgeoisie

DOG'S BREAKFAST

dethroned

THEMATIC CONSTIPATION

the same themes
like day after day
will be etched
into the annuls
of his story

the winners
write his story
all the lies
we take for truth

we will take a bite
from the carrot
dangled in front
and behind us
everywhere
our eyes can see
every picture
we gaze at
unquestioningly

the same truths
will be disseminated
by the bearers
of his story
we will take a bite
hook, line and sinker
unquestioningly

the same themes
repeated over
and over again
always forever

untitled

you are always bored
because nothing's on yr mind
besides what you can buy
and what you have bought

you need to escape
from this banal reality
with nonsense and trivia
dollar sign fever

everything's going to be ok

consume until you drop

I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOU

i want to know about you

all the noughts you have divided
all the darkness that is light
all the horses that ride you
all the crimes not witnessed
all the wrapping paper that is present
all the future in your past
all the oil paintings that do not last
all the glass that does not smash
all the oxymorons that do not contradict

all the arrogance that is modest
all the rings that are phoning
all the contradictions that make sense
all the photos snapping cameras
all the digital replaced by analogue
all the CDs that preceed cassettes
all the the backwards going forwards
all the pretentiousness that is honest
all the poetry that writes itself
all the dada not recuperated
all the awesome that is lame
all the endings that begin

i want to know about you

THE ELONGATED WINDPIPE

Self-destruction is the grand prize
When you can see through all their lies
They’ve got dollar sign in their eyes
And claim the whole world as their prize

So you call yourself an anarchist
And reject all forms of hierarchy
But do you understand what you know?
Can you describe what is “anarchy”?

All around us is visual pollution
As the “sheeple” dance the dance of delusion
An ubiquitous case of cranial contusion
Is it part of the human condition
That we all are socially conditioned
To believe what we see or hear on television?

We believe we are free
Free agents of the free world
We act on capital’s decree
Buying the shit we see on TV
And never questioning the status quo
Our desires, the lowest common denominator

We consume like consumption were food
One pair of shoes for each mood
Yes, the emperor is stark raving nude
When you see through his façade
He will wield the sword of naked power
And grow stronger hour by hour
If we don’t take back the power
Rather we choose to roll over and cower

Who will choose to be an agent of change
When day after day, nothing really changes
The starving are still starving
As the emperor is gluttonously laughing
Preventable diseases run rampant
When the corporations protect their precious patents

Suicide genes in suicide seeds
The unmitigated memes of greed
Genocide is what genocide is
Crypto fascism under a foreign aid façade
As the new world kings knowingly wave to each other
Like the world is not enough
And all resources are theirs for their taking
They dump the food to hike up the prices
While the mass pit of cadavers grows exponentially
The dollar and the gold for the entire family

What is said has been said a million times before
What we want is more of the same
Repetition dressed up as novelty
Destroy the whole world with acid rain
And history as they write it is more of the same
They control the present so they control the past
Built in obsolescence, the name of the game
Building machines with a use by date

So we have a choice to make
Do we want to accept this shit
Or are we going to disobey?
Are we going to take another hit
Of that fire water that drowns out reality
Or are we going to say “enough!”
“We reject this sordid reality!”
“We won’t take this shit any more!”

The choice is yours to make my friend
Do you want to defend and just pretend
That everything is fine and dandy
And continue to consume the genocide candy?
Or do you want to create something new?
A world where all our desires are fulfilled
And not just for the few on the top of the heap
Equality is what the revolutionaries seek

The choice is yours to make my friend
Do you want to hear the sound of my elongated windpipe?

REALITY CHECK

I shan't write about myself
anymore
because my life
is not exciting,
nor chaotic
anymore
without the hammer

and I like it that way

I am no longer
under any illusions
and free
from delusion

and I like it that way

ANTIDOTE

may the acid rain wash it all away
all our hatred, all our fear

COMFORTABLE LIES

feel your bones against mine
dissident out of time
all alone in my mind
all the while, wasting time
no meaning, lack of pride
cut through lies with a knife
wake up on the other side
the oppressed, they will rise

our affluence comes at price
our brand new shoes look very nice
one bowl of rice will not suffice
so the truth takes us by surprise

much beauty on this earth
every day is the same
waste our time, go to work
you shall cry, yes it hurts
the end is nigh in this world
drop the bomb, kill some 'niggers'
they eat dirt in the third world
it's poverty for sinners

our privilege comes at a price
we dine like kings while people starve
buy more, eat more, don't think twice
we tell ourselves comfortable lies

yet again, press rewind
every day is the same
without thought, speak your mind
get ahead, play the game
get so high on candy
go nowhere on a treadmill
which drugs do you fancy?
keep climbing up that hill

our way of life comes at a price
we play with smart phones while they slave
we celebrate while people die
we'll never see or change our ways

keep telling ourselves comfortable lies

URINATING ON GENEVA

from trauma to more trauma
these are our ways
we shall lock them all up
and let the odd one drown
in the perilous journey
to our migration zone
and we shall continue
to lock them up
we shall label them
as 'illegals' just
some arab scum
we will protect
our nation as best
we can we will
dictate to the sheep
the people glued
to 3D plasma televisions
divide and conquer
and we shall lock
up some Hazaras
and we will lock
up their children,
don't let anyone
photograph the
conditions at
Naura, at Papua
New Guinea
the tents will
all be air-conditioned
and all the toilets
will have no doors
they don't deserve
to have privacy
no one shall
take photographs
of any of the misery
who cares if four
people sewed their
lips together
they are just doing it
to get our
attention
we don't care
if our stranglehold
on the freedom
of the media imitates we
shall adopt the same
restrictions as North
Korea, we
shall deny any
attempts to take
photographs nobody
will see how
wonderful the facilities
are and how cost
effective it is, we
shall detain them
without a certain
date of release or
deportation after
we grant them asylum
for a year or two
before we fly them
back to war torn countries
we can do whatever
we like we shall
piss on Geneva
and declare how
much of a fiscal drain
they are in this
splenderous nation
of ours all multicultural
and classless we
shall defend our
borders from the
huge influx of those
illegals and terrorists
we shall decide who
can or can't enter
this wonderful land
built on the destruction
of 'Terra Nullius" that's
how we proudly
built up this land of
ours we shall rightfully
claim this land for
the queen and the
motherland we will
place the wedge
in all the right
places, it 's open warfare

THE SCYTHE

it's hell, right here in this world,
not for me, not for you
but for those who
work and work and work
for a fucking pittance
unable to give their children
a proper education
you may come across
a homeless man
but you know
he's still going to eat
tonight, yes it's food
but the man with the scyth
will not be able
to dance tonight
because we live here
with our flashy cars
and pristine mansions
they will never see
what they refuse to see
as the man with the coffee
is unable to dance
because he's working
for a pittance
but he will not
take this shit anymore
so he puts down his scyth
and picks up a machete
and hacks through
all the bullshit
and he takes back
what is rightfully his
they shall never
take our property
back off us
on the back
of back-breaking
neo-slavery
we shall rise up
and take
it back

dada manifesto

TO THE PUBLIC:

Before going down among you to pull out your decaying teeth, your running ears, your tongues full of sores,

Before breaking your putrid bones,

Before opening your cholera-infested belly and taking out for use as fertilizer your too fatted liver, your ignoble spleen and your diabetic kidneys,

Before tearing out your ugly sexual organ, incontinent and slimy,

Before extinguishing your appetite for beauty, ecstasy, sugar, philosophy, mathematical and poetic metaphysical pepper and cucumbers,

Before disinfecting you with vitriol, cleansing you and shellacking you with passion,

Before all that,

We shall take a big antiseptic bath,

And we warn you

We are murderers.

(Manifesto signed by Ribemont-Dessaignes and read by seven people at the demonstration at the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées, Paris, 5 February 1920).

You are all indicted; stand up! Stand up as you would for the Marseillaise or God Save the King…

Dada alone does not smell: it is nothing, nothing, nothing.

It is like your hopes: nothing.

like your paradise: nothing.

like your idols: nothing.

like your politicians: nothing.

like your heroes: nothing.

like your artists: nothing.

like your religions: nothing.

Hiss, shout, kick my teeth in, so what? I shall still tell you that you are half-wits. In three months my friends and I will be selling you our pictures for a few francs.

(Manifeste cannibale dada by Francis Picabia, read at the Dada soirée at the Théâtre de la Maison de l’Oeuvre, Paris, 27 March 1920.)

SHIT STAINED VANTAGE POINT

you breed pestilence
because you chase
American Dreams
your sordid arrogance
manifests
in selfish memes
and I -
I spit
on your dreams
and your lunacy
with iconclastic
shards
of vitriol
you will have
your day in paradise
but you will
never see
beyond
your shit stained
vantage point
of bourgeois privilege
every dog
shall take a bite
out of
every other dog
but I shall have
my porridge
and regurgitate it
at your dirty
feet

INVOCATION
OF
PSEUDO-RELIGIOSITY
IN
TIMES
OF
CONVENIENCE
(HYPOCRITE)

Inside our hearts,
a power immutable.
Compassion, kindness:
will cowards suck us dry?
Pure intentions,
love so indisputable.
Reach out to others;
the selfish shall wonder why.

Treat each other day
like another Christmas day.
Kind in every way;
not on show just for that day.
Human decency
in every interaction.
Love thy enemy,
not to please a deity.

Spineless hypocrites
will repent when it suits them.
Morals smashed to bits
as drunkards shy from heaven.
Self-righteous fingers
pointed at us atheists.
Who shall pray for her
as he beats the whore senseless?

Return each Sunday
to worship thy lord above.
Though sins are plenty,
they still do not own enough.
Another excuse
to lie, cheat, steal from the poor.
God will forgive you,
so keep knocking on his door.

BUKOWSKI BORES ME

Today, I received a phone call
from someone whose number
I had lost,
due to having my mobile phone
stolen
on a night,
in which the details
are sketchy
in the muddy banks
of my alcohol frazzled
memory.

The person calling
seemed rather sincere
in what he was saying,
but I detected
a hint
of an ulterior motive.

He told me that I could hang
at his decked-out abode,
rather than associate
with succubi
out to use and abuse me.

Just like everyone
else.

HOW TO SPELL CONTRADICTION

we love to go shopping
it makes us feel so happy
we love to drink poison
it makes us feel so happy
we love to go shopping
it fulfills our dreams
we love to smoke faggots
it makes us feel so 'moral'

we love to buy presents
it makes others reciprocate
we love to hit the bottle
it makes us so truthful
we love to receive presents
it makes us feels so loved
we love to beat up homos
it makes us feel so manly

we have no convictions
it makes us feel so empty
we abhor compassion
it's each man for himself
we have no convictions
it's all good as long as the weather's fair
we reject all the misfits
for AIDs is bleeding from their hearts

we must stamp out rebellion
we dare not think outside the box
we worship contradictions
it's innate to be greedy and selfish
we pay for the experience of rebellion
how much for those pre-faded, pre-torn jeans?
we deny the cognitive dissonance
for everything is OK; just pretend we are happy

we love to go shopping
we love to drink poison
we love to go shopping
we like to smoke faggots
we love to buy presents
we love to hit the bottle
we love to receive presents
we love to beat up homos

can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?

we love to go shopping
we love to drink poison
we love to go shopping
we like to smoke faggots
we love to buy presents
we love to hit the bottle
we love to receive presents
we love to beat up homos

can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?
can you tell me how to spell contradiction?

SYSTEM OVERLOAD

Guy Fawkes
Propaganda by deed
My vendetta
is yr corrupt culture
Blow up the parliament
Time warp terrorist
The blood
of protestants
arouses
my sentiments

I draw
dotted lines
in the moist sand
Pick up seashells
Throw them
in a cauldron
Concoct a spell
of liberation
The condemned
shall be free

Retreat
underground
as the weather
changes
There's no need
to blow up
the banks
For a sea change
has swept
us over

Electronica
Terrorista
Feed yr sisters
Free our brothers
Respect yr mothers
Kill our fathers
Chip away
at the mainframe
IMF
World Bank

Redistribute
the numbers
equally
Divide by
6.5 billion
Free the zealots
from their chains
Superfluous
like coal trains

When the peons
share
the same

No more
financial midgets
For
in abundance
the value
of Godhead's
sacred symbols
become
null and void

A JOURNEY THRU DOORWAYS OF DECADENCE

from the planet Pluto i departed
then I landed on this earthly cauldron of pestilence
fuck the corporate cretins and the wars that they have started

this is but a distant echo of the replication of decadence

did I get here in that garbage fuelled car:
the one with the futuristic flip up doors?
I was laying down in a dream gazing up at the stars
and those mushroom enhanced tablets opened up the doors

so much apathy on this sheep-fucker's paradise
so many sheep on this illegitimate genocidal island:
the post-
Utopian failures of the failure to communicate
as the
inconveniences and riff raff keep on dying
and the baby-killing war criminals continue to extricate
and the corporate
cuntish media keep on lying
and the cretins in high castles and steeples continue to feed us hate
while the BAH BAH BAH consumers keep on buy buy buying

why must I keep on throwing the
same nonsense back in the collective face of the converted?
may the nth dimension of universal love bless the innocents now departed
from the source, back to the source, flows the currents of karma
that supposedly 'highly evolved' creatures have started

there is nothing more I can say that is not a
cliché
and from the beginning, I had nothing new to say
everyday should be a peaceful day in each and every way
but it's never going to happen until the hyper-greedy go away

the pollution...the pollution...the pollution...
the solution...the solution...the solution...

pop a fucking cap in their holy temples
then leave the fuckers the choice to join the free or die

the pollution...the pollution...the pollution...
the revolution...the revolution...the revolution...

will not be televised, nor
Stalinised, nor sanitised
and there will not be a leadership of the conceitedly wise

bloood will flow
heads will roll
equality
the beautiful end

so this is the beginning and the end
of the drifter's journey that I am still on

A STAB AT HUMANITY

hack through the bones
to find the broken shells of shame.
strangers at home
casting a silent spell of war games.

if I trace the fragments
in a fragmented collective memory,
I hear empty threats
and the cataclysmic tortured screams of regrets.

we can claim the moral high-ground
but what makes us believe
that human life is
the Everest of value?

inside our whispered taunts,
are the decaying innards of
our humanistic,
mass-murdering hypocrisy!

I still remember
but how will you remember
when you are dismembered;
just one less inconvenience.

"there is no way to peace --
peace is the way."

A Sad State Of Freedom

by Nazim Hikmet

You waste the attention of your eyes,
the glittering labour of your hands,
and knead the dough enough for dozens of loaves
of which you'll taste not a morsel;
you are free to slave for others--
you are free to make the rich richer.

The moment you're born
they plant around you
mills that grind lies
lies to last you a lifetime.
You keep thinking in your great freedom
a finger on your temple
free to have a free conscience.

Your head bent as if half-cut from the nape,
your arms long, hanging,
your saunter about in your great freedom:
you're free
with the freedom of being unemployed.

You love your country
as the nearest, most precious thing to you.
But one day, for example,
they may endorse it over to America,
and you, too, with your great freedom--
you have the freedom to become an air-base.

You may proclaim that one must live
not as a tool, a number or a link
but as a human being--
then at once they handcuff your wrists.
You are free to be arrested, imprisoned
and even hanged.

There's neither an iron, wooden
nor a tulle curtain
in your life;
there's no need to choose freedom:
you are free.
But this kind of freedom
is a sad affair under the stars.
